Requirements for being led by the Holy Spirit. And we said from the book of 2nd Corinthians chapter 13, verse 14. 2 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 14, it says the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, it says the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. And we said grace is what Jesus offers. Grace is what Jesus offers, and love is what God offers, and communion is what the Holy Spirit offers. You see, when you encounter Jesus, the only what Jesus trades in is grace. When you encounter Jesus, he trades in grace. He trades in grace. That's why the Bible says in John chapter 1, verse 14, grace and truth came by Jesus. And God trades in love. He says John chapter 3, verse 16, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. And we said that the Holy Spirit, he trades in communion, he trades in fellowship. You see, you cannot give what you don't have, right? That's what they say. You see, God, the only thing God can give is love. And the only thing the Holy Spirit is willing to give you is his communion. So you cannot ask the Holy Spirit to give you what he does not, he is not, he doesn't, he doesn't have. So he trades in communion. And we started talking about what are the um requirements for creating intimacy with the Holy Spirit. We said the Holy Spirit is not fire, the Holy Spirit is not wind, the Holy Spirit is not um is not oil. You know, we sing songs like um like fire, like rain, let your glory fall, like fire, like rain, let it come, like fire, like rain, let your spirit come. Yeah, those songs are great, but the Holy Spirit is not fire, is not rain. The Holy Spirit is a person. You cannot create intimacy with fire and with rain. I don't know if you're hearing what I'm saying. You cannot build intimacy with oil, you cannot, you cannot be intimate with with anointing, you can only be intimate with a person, yes, and that's why we must recognize the Holy Spirit as a person. Yes, we must recognize him as a person. Now, how do you build intimacy with a person? We talked about three principles last week about how to build intimacy. We said that we must know and we must study the character of the person we are trying to build intimacy with. We must know and we must do what? Study the character of the person we are trying to build intimacy with. We must know and we must study the character of the person we are trying to build intimacy with. And secondly, we said that it takes time to build intimacy. It takes time to build intimacy. Intimacy is not built on the run, intimacy is not built on the go. It's no, no, no, no, no. Intimacy is built over time, it is built over time, and we said also that intimacy is never public, intimacy is in private. There must be a time that you know you and it's just you and the Holy Spirit, communing with the Holy Spirit, ministering to him, calling him his sweet names. And I gave us an assignment last week that we should look for 15 or 20 names of the Holy Spirit. How many of us did that assignment? You know, 15 or 20 names of the Holy Spirit. You know why? Because intimacy is built with words. That's why, you know, husband and wife have names for each other. You know, you are the only sugar in my tea, you are the butter of my bread, you are this and that. Why? Because they are trying to build intimacy. So you use words to build intimacy with a person, you use words, so you say, sweet Holy Spirit, uh, the eternal spirit of God, the spirit of God, oh, the spirit of might. And the names you call the Holy Spirit determines how it breaks forth in your life. So if I call him that, you are the spirit of prophecy, and I continue to call him the spirit of prophecy over time. Holy Spirit, you are the spirit of prophecy, you are the spirit of prophecy, you are the one who inspires the word. You know, I give you praise, I honor you. Just like saying that over and over, the spirit of God begins to manifest in your life as a spirit of prophecy. It begins to show you things to come. You see that? So we you you have to find out what are the names of the Holy Spirit and how do I want him to manifest in my life. You see that you should you find out what are the names. I want I want to call him the spirit of might, for example, the spirit of mind, so that he gives strength, you are the spirit of grace and truth. You see, you find those names and you call him those names. That is how you build intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Somebody say amen. Now, I want to give us all three keys for spending time. Three keys for spending time with the Holy Spirit, three quick keys for spending time. Number one is consciousness. Somebody, what is consciousness? Consciousness is your ability to be aware of and to respond to someone or something. That is consciousness. Your ability to be aware of um and to respond to someone or something. We're talking about how do you have unbroken communion with the Holy Spirit? You see, the only thing the Holy Spirit is interested with you and I is communion. It wants to fellowship with us, it wants to fellowship with you, it wants to tell you things that you don't know. So, how do you have unbroken communion with the Holy Spirit? Number one is consciousness. You are always conscious of his presence, you are always ready to respond to his promptings. Yes, you are alive to the reality of the spirit around you. That is consciousness. You are alive to the reality, you are alive to the fact that you are not alone. The Bible says in John chapter 14, verse 27, it says that he will send us the spirit of truth who will be with us forever. And you take that word for what it is that the Holy Spirit is with me forever. Yes, you take that's consciousness now. You are like the Holy Spirit is me. Even in this valley, even in this dry place, the Holy Spirit is with me. That's the consciousness. Consciousness, you are always conscious of his presence. And number two is acknowledgement. Acknowledgement. Always verbally recognizing the presence of the Holy Spirit, verbally recognizing the presence of the Holy Spirit. That is acknowledgement. I'm talking about how do you have unbroken communion with the Holy Spirit. Number one is consciousness, number two is acknowledgement. That is verbally acknowledging Him that Holy Spirit, I thank you because you are here with me. Now, that is acknowledgement. Now, Holy Spirit, I thank you because you are here. You know why we should acknowledge the Holy Spirit? It is because spirits don't manifest in places where they are not acknowledged. That's just the nature of spirits. Spirits don't manifest in a place where they are not acknowledged. If you ignore any spirit, they will not manifest. But when you are constantly, and it's true for the devil too, if you are constantly acknowledging the devil, if you are constantly acknowledging the devil, if the devil is more real to you than God, then it will be manifesting more in your life. But if you are constantly acknowledging the presence of God, only spirit, I thank you for your presence in my life. Holy Spirit, I thank you for your presence in the lives of my children. Holy Spirit, I thank you for your presence in the life of my husband. I thank you for your presence in this home. I thank you for your presence in this family. I thank you for your presence in my. You see, constantly acknowledging the presence of God makes him manifest and break out in your life. Yes, it's a principle. Constant acknowledgement. Verbally, I'm not saying in your heart, I'm saying verbally as you are driving. Holy Spirit, I thank you because you are in the passenger seat. In fact, Holy Spirit, I thank you because you are you are the one driving this car right now. You know, constantly acknowledging it. That is what makes the Holy Spirit real to you, and it enables you to enjoy unbroken communion with the spirit. So I said consciousness, that is, you are always ready to receive, you are aware of the presence, and you are ready to obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit and acknowledgement, it is verbally recognizing the presence of the Holy Spirit. That is how you maintain unbroken communion, is the law in the spirit. Spirits will not manifest in a place where they are not acknowledged. People in the dark world, they understand this more than we do sometimes. They on they understand this that they and that's why they are always acknowledging those spirits. And number three is gratitude. I said consciousness, acknowledgement, and number three is gratitude. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude, just thanking him. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Holy Spirit, thank you, Holy Spirit, thank you, Holy Spirit. Constantly doing that, and when you do that over and over again, you see that you enjoy unbroken communion with the sweet spirit of God. You see, the person that comes to mind for me is the man David in the Bible. The man David in the Bible is the one that seemed to master this art of communion with the spirit of God. He mastered this art of communion with the spirit of God. What was supposed to be a disadvantage in the life of David, being consigned to the back of the desert to run sheep, to run around goats and things like that, he turned it into an opportunity to interact with the spirit of the father. That's what David did. He turned it into an opportunity to interact with God. It was banished. Even when Samuel came to the father's house to anoint a king, they forgot that there is still a boy down there. The man, Samuel, who was called the great seer of Israel, he missed it. When he saw Eliab, he was like, Oh no, this must be the anointed of God. This must be the anointed of God. You see, God said, No, no, no, no, no, no. You look at the outward, but I look at the inward. So David was consigned. He was he was at a disadvantage. I don't know what disadvantage it seems you have. Maybe the color of your skin is your disadvantage. If you can turn that disadvantage and you can turn it around and you can commune with the Holy Spirit, that same disadvantage will become your advantage in the name of Jesus. Yes, that's what he did. You see, sometimes people's voices can be a disturbance. People's voices, it can be a distraction. The voices of men have choked the voice of God out of the life of so many people. The voices of men have choked the life out of choked the voice of God out of the life of so many people. I told us the story when I was moving from from Chicago, you know, things were so tough when I was in Chicago, and I knew that my time in Chicago was over. But it was like, okay, should I go to Detroit? I have a friend in Detroit. Should I go to North Carolina? Should I go to this place? I just, I was just at some point I just said, okay, I'm just going to shut out all the noise because there were so many advice, so many cancelled. Oh, do this, come here, uh, do this, you know, come and do this. You know, at some point I was just like, okay, this is time to just shut out the cancer, just just be quiet and be still. And then let God lead you. And let God lead you. And I'm thankful that I made the decision to come to Maryland and the encounters that God has given me since I came to this state. You see, so you you want to you want to you want to shut out the noise. You don't want the noise. Some people, the noise, the voice of their primary school teacher is still louder in their head. The voice of the person that said they cannot amount to anything is still louder in their head. Yes, the voice of the people that didn't believe in them is still louder in their head. You have to shut out those noises and let the voice of God be the primary thing that you pay that you pay attention to. And let me tell us, see, the word, the word has systemized and they have organized how to keep our attention. The word they have systemized and they have organized it how to get our attention. Guess what is happening right now? The world cup is going on. The world cup is going on right now. The world cup is going on. That's another way to take our attention. That's another way to take our attention. And your attention is their money. Your attention, the attention you are giving them on Facebook, on YouTube, guess what? It's turning into money for them. It's turning into money for them. They have organized it, they have systemized it, they have programmed the way for us to always give them our attention. And I'm I want to challenge us. Instead of giving the world your attention, give God your attention. Yes, give God your attention. Shut out the noise of the world and give God your attention. Jesus went to the house of Mary and Martha. He went to the house of Mary and Martha and he was just you know teaching them. Guess what Mary did? Mary sat at the feet of Jesus, was giving Jesus' Jesus attention, giving him attention. Martha was about, you know, we have to cook, we have to eat, we have to bake cake, we have to do this, we have to do that. Are all those things legitimate legitimate? Absolutely. We must eat now. Jesus, Jesus was there to eat. Jesus will eat now. Jesus did not fast all through his 33 years. He did not fast for 33 years. He was eating. And Matha was making we have to take care of uh Rabbi. And those are legitimate needs. But guess what? Jesus told them. He said, Mary has chosen the better thing. Mary has chosen the better thing. What's the better thing? Giving Jesus your undivided attention. That's the better thing. Giving Jesus your undivided attention. Not allowing the word to fragment our lives, to fragment our attention. And the same thing for our children. We want to make sure that the word has they have a plan to fragment their attention, to to cause them to be anxious, to make to cause them to be technology dependent. We as parents must make that decision that no, we're not going to give, we're not going to sell our children to the world on the platform, on the very cheap platform. Somebody say amen. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 12. 1 Corinthians chapter 2 and verse 12. Look at what it says. It says, Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 12. Now we have what? Received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. I'm trying to say that. I wonder the things that God has freely given to you that you don't yet know. Why? Because you have not fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Because you have not fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Those things that have been freely given to you, you don't know them yet. Yes. Because it's in the place of fellowship. It is in the place of fellowship that he unveils to us the things that he has freely given to us. It's in the place of fellowship. It's in the place of fellowship that he unveils his mind to us. Have you noticed that? You know, when you go to somebody, when you go to somebody and you're always asking them, tell me this, tell me that. I mean, I've noticed it personally. You know, when I go to somebody, maybe somebody I look up to and I say, tell me this, oh, tell me that. All I when I go to meet them, I'm just always asking, tell me this, tell me that. I notice that they are not as forthcoming. They're not as forthcoming. But if I if I step back, if I step back and I and I decide to build a relationship with them, and I decide to build a relationship with and I just you know go into their presence and go, oh what can I do for you today, sir? You know, and what can I do for you today? Okay, um, let me go and do that. This let me go and take this car, let me do this and do it. Okay, I'll do it. You know, okay. Next time you go there, say, I'm just here, sir. Why are you here today? I'm just here, sir. I'm just I'm just I'm just hanging out. If you need anything, you know, just let me know, sir. You know, you're building relationship, you're building this, you're building relationship with them. Over time, they will begin to tell you things that you did not ask for. Yes, they begin to tell you things. Have you have you ever had somebody say to you that I did not mean to tell you that or that thing that I just told you, don't don't make sure you don't tell it to anybody. Why? It's because relationship has has gotten secrets out of them. Yes, relationship has a way of getting people to say things that they did not intend to say before. Because, but if you're always asking, tell me this, tell me that, tell me this, tell me that. They'll be like, uh, kill them. What's what are you looking for? What are you looking for? But if you just build relationship with them, you are you are at their service, you are ministering to them, you are at their service. Now they'll begin to tell you things that should only be for your ears. The same thing with the Holy Spirit. That's what I'm challenging us to do. Spend time with him, then he begins to reveal to you the things that have been freely given to you by God. So the first thing, the first requirement to be led by the Holy Spirit is fellowship. The first requirement to be led by the Holy Spirit is fellowship. Somebody say fellowship, yes, and that's what we've been talking about. It is fellowship. That's the first requirement. The second requirement to be led by the Holy Spirit is know the word. Know the word. Somebody say know the word. Say know the word. Yes, your accuracy in discerning God's voice is dependent. Your accuracy in discerning the voice of the spirit is dependent on your level of maturity in the word. Let me say that again. Your accuracy in discerning the voice of the spirit is dependent on your accuracy in the word. Your accuracy in the word. The interpretation a child will give to what an adult is saying is not the same as what an adult will give to that same communication. 1 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 11. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, what did I do? I put away childish things. I put away childish things. How do you become an adult? Through the word of God. How do you become an adult? 1 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 11. 1 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 11. How do you become an adult that doesn't interpret sickness of the spirit like a child? If you are always interpreting the sickness of the spirit as a child, there'll be a limit to how much the Holy Spirit can communicate to you. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, I interpreted promptings of the Holy Spirit like a child. But when I became a man, what did I do? I put away childish things. How do you become an adult in the things of the spirit? First Peter chapter 2, verse 2. As newborn babes, what do you do? Desire the pure milk of the world that you may grow thereby. It is the word that enables you to grow. Acts chapter 20, verse 32. Acts chapter 20, verse 32. So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among those who have been sanctified. Acts chapter 20, verse 32. I commend you to God who is able to build you up. I commend you to God and the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among those who have been saved. It's the word of God that gives us an inheritance. Second Timothy chapter 3, verse 15. The apostle Paul speaking to his protege, Timothy, he says, and that from childhood you have known the holy scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation. And from childhood you have known the holy scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. How do you become, how do you tune your ears to the voice of the spirit? It is through the word. You know the word. Know the word. You know the word. There's no shortcut to it. There's no shortcut. You must know the word. You must read your Bible. Yes, that's an art we are losing now. You must read your Bible. Just for the fun of it, just read like five chapters at one sitting. Listen to it as you are driving. Listen to it. Put Second Corinthians, put Ephesians on the on the you know, we have all this Bible up now. Knowing the word, there's no there's no other, there's no shortcut to it. If anybody presents a shortcut to you, to the voice of God, different from knowing the word of God, that is a a a fake, a fake, a fake person. Yes, yes, you know the word. You know the word. Remember the story of Samuel when God called him. When God called him, what did he do? He ran to Eli, he was like, Ah, I heard something that I've not heard before. Why? Because Samuel was still a child. Samuel was still a child in the things of the spirit. He ran to Eli, was like, Oh, okay, I heard something no. He did that three times. It was the third time that Samuel was that Eli was like, Go back, and next time when you hear it, say, speak Lord, your servant hear it. So your level of spirituality, your level of spiritual maturity in the word will impact your ability to hear God accurately. Let me say that again. Your level of spiritual maturity in the word will impact your ability to hear God accurately. Yes, we grow deep in the word, we grow deeper in the word, we grow deeper in the word. Why? Because the word is the language of the spirit. The word of God is the language of the spirit. The language of the spirit is not English. Let me say that again. The language of the spirit of God is not English, it's not Yoruba. What's the language of the Spirit of God? It is the Word of God. The language of the Spirit of God is the Word of God. You say, when they say that, oh, let's not be in the Spirit, let's not be in the Spirit. Let's not be in the Spirit is not is not um, you know, shake your head and now you know close your eyes and now you know no. That's not that's not being the spirit. When they say let's not be in the spirit, let's not be in the spirit, is find a scripture and fix your eyes on that scripture and begin to meditate on it. That's how you be in the spirit. The way you get in the spirit is you find the scripture, fix your eyes on it, and begin to meditate on it. That's how you get into the spirit. Because the word of God is the language of the spirit of God. The the word of God is what is the vocabulary, is the reference for the spirit of God. And the more you acquaint yourself with the word of God, the easier it is for the Holy Spirit to use the word of God to speak to you. So every morning as I open my Bible and as I'm reading, I'm expecting God to speak to me. Don't say that God, the Holy Spirit has not spoken to you if you are not reading your Bible. I don't know if you're hearing what I'm saying. Don't say that the Holy Spirit is not speaking to you. Don't say that the Holy Spirit has ignored you if you're not reading your Bible. Don't say that if you are not reading your Bible, there is no way the Holy Spirit is going to speak to you. He wants to speak to you through his word because the vocabulary of the Spirit is the word of God, it's not English. The vocabulary is the word of God, He speaks to you by His Word. The Holy Spirit cannot contradict his word. The Holy Spirit cannot contradict his word, cannot contradict his word. God and his word are one, and he would never contradict it. The reason many people are misled and they buy into lies is because they don't know the word. You are going to be misled, and you're going to buy into lies if you don't. Acquaint yourself with the word of God. This is so true. There's no shortcut to what I'm sharing with us today. This is this is the counsel of God. You read the word of God. You cannot iron it out. You cannot contract it out. Like you, you cannot find like people find prayer contractors. You cannot contract this out. It is your word, your word have I hid in my heart that I will not sin against you. You see, so you grow deeper in the word. Galatians chapter 1, Galatians chapter 1, verse 8 to 9. Let's see what it says. He says, But even if we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you that we have than than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galatians chapter 1, verse 8 to 9. Galatians chapter 1, verse 8 to 9. Paul is saying that, hey, listen to me. If anybody comes, if any spirit comes, if any prophet comes, and he begins to suggest things to you that are not consistent with the written scriptures, that are not that are not consistent with the revealed counsel of God, let that person be accursed. Let that person be accursed. That's very important. So we don't we don't admit, we don't tolerate anything that is not consistent with the will of God. Somebody say amen. So the number one requirement for fellowship. What is the number one requirement for fellowship with the Holy Spirit? What's the number one requirement? Fellowship. The requirement for being led by the Holy Spirit. Number one requirement is fellowship. Yes. And we say that um there are three ways to enjoy unbroken intimacy with the Holy Spirit. The three ways are consciousness, acknowledgement, and gratitude. It allows you to enjoy unbroken communion, unbroken fellowship with the Holy Spirit. And what's the number two requirement for being led by the Holy Spirit? Know the word. Know the word. That's the number two requirements. And number three, which is the last thing I'm going to share today, is practice makes perfect. Practice makes perfect. Number one is fellowship. Number two is know the word. Number three is practice makes perfect. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age. That is, those who by reason of use have have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. To discern both good and evil. Look at what the Bible is saying. The Bible didn't say to discern between good and evil. No, it said to discern both good and evil. That is, there are some good things that need discernment. Even good things need discernment because not every good thing is God. There are some good things that you should not do. That's what I'm trying to say. There are some good things that God does not want us to do. All things are lawful, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful, but not all things are helpful. And I will not be brought under the bondage of any. You can be brought under the bondage of a good thing. Eating is good, isn't it? Eating is good, but you can be you can be in bondage to eating. Yes, eating is sleeping is good, but you can be in bondage to sleeping. So you discern good, both good and evil. You discern both good and evil. You are not only discerning between good and evil. That's easy actually. To discern between good and evil is easy. It is to discern good, to know the good thing that you're supposed to do and the good things that you're not supposed to do. That's the that's the difficult part. And that's why you need the Holy Spirit. That's why you need the Holy Spirit. So you can you can I mean if something is obviously evil, I mean you are not going to do it. But not every good thing should be done. And how do you how do you get the ability to discern good, to discern both good and evil? Why? How do you do that? Practice. It's practice, it's practice. Practice. Practice. You learn. I have here learn to record when you perceive you have heard from God. Write that down. Learn to record when you perceive you have heard from God. Record it. This thing that we say, oh, and something told me, and something told me as I was driving, something told me, that's something. Stop saying something. Stop saying something. It's the Holy Spirit, especially when you've seen it that's born out now. It is the Holy Spirit. So you're gonna say, the Holy Spirit told me, the Holy Spirit ministered to me. Remember, the principle for maintaining unconscious um unbroken communion is acknowledgement. So if you keep calling someone something, you need to think about it. If somebody is referring to you, they keep calling you something, they keep saying something, something, something, something. Is that person going to be excited to talk to you? No, so I'm not you're not gonna say something. No, no, no. No, something did not say to me. The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart. That's acknowledgement now. The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart to say this. The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart to go here. The only spirit impressed upon my heart to talk to this person. The Holy Spirit impressed, so you are you are labeling it correctly. That's acknowledgement. You are labeling it correctly, and you are practicing that thing, you are practicing it. So when you perceive something, you okay. That's I think that's the way the Holy Spirit speaks to me. Or when you see something in a flash, and you okay, so maybe that's the Holy Spirit, okay, then you record it, you act on it. When you act on it, and then it bears out, and there is oh, okay, no, so that's the only spirit. No, you record it, you record it because practice makes perfect. It is the extent to which you have exercised yourself that determines how you are able to differentiate between good and how you're able to differentiate both good and evil. It is as you exercise yourself that God begins to take you seriously. You see, the word for um God can minister to you to minister to us at the landmark church, for example. That is, God, the way the way ministry works is not like, oh, there's gonna be one superman that God is only going to speak true pastor. That's not the way the ministry works. God can minister to you as you are praying, as you are praying for the church, you're praying for the landmark church, you're praying for the pastor, you're praying for his family. God can minister something to you. You're praying for the landmark church, God can minister something, oh, maybe we should go there, maybe we should do this. Sadly speaking, many people don't take that responsibility in church. Many people don't take that responsibility, they just say, Oh, uh, pastor has got it. Oh, the leaders in church have got it. Oh, uh no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You are you are missing the opportunity to exercise yourself, the Holy Spirit speaking to you and ministering grace. You know, the Bible tells us that when we come together, you can come with a psalm, I come with a song, you come with an im. Everybody's supposed to come because all the joints are supposed to minister to each other until we are all equipped. All the joints, let's look for that scripture. All the joints supplying, let's look for that scripture. I have here it says, From whom the whole body joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, every joint supplies. So every joint in the body is supposed to be supplying something. Yes, every joint in the body is supposed to be supplying something, somebody is supplying encouragement, somebody is supplying hospitality, somebody is supplying food, yes, somebody is supplying comfort, somebody is supplying, you know, grace, somebody is supplying teaching, every joint supply according to the effective working by which every part does its year, causing growth of the body and for the edifying of itself in love. Very important. So you want to grow in the things of the spirit, you want to you it's in the it's in intercession. You intercede for the for the for the landmark church, you intercede for God's people, and as you intercede for God's people, intercession is what makes you larger in the spirit. That's what intercession does for you. It makes you larger in the spirit, and it makes God able to pipe intelligence through you to his people. Yes, it makes you larger as you as you as you're in on your knees, praying, interceding for somebody. The Holy Spirit begins to enlarge you and he pipes intelligence through you. And as you act on that intelligence, as you deliver that intelligence, that is what is called prophecy. That's prophecy. Many people just say, Oh, uh, that person is going to do it, or they are the ones, they are the ones. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You are missing an opportunity to practice and to perfect your own gift of the spirit. Proverbs chapter 1, verse 23. Proverbs chapter 1 and verse 23. It says, Turn at my rebuke, surely I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make my words known to you. Turn at my rebuke, surely I will pour out my spirit on you, I will make my words what? Known to you. So it is as we obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit that he unveils more of himself to us. It is as we obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit, is as we obey his rebuke, is as we obey his instructions, it is as we obey his directions and guidance that he opens himself more to us. That's it. So we commit to obeying. That's practice. If God said that I should call this person, um the practice is when I wake up, I'm gonna pick my call, my phone, and call that person. That's that's your practicing. God says if you speak to this person about this thing, the practice is you do that, that's practice, you just act on it. You act on it. Pray God will help us in Jesus' name. All right, let's be on our feet as we begin to pray. Let's be on our feet as we begin to pray. Let's bring this to a close. So we said that the requirement of being led by the Holy Spirit is number one, fellowship, number two is know the word, and number three is practice.
